Summary

Willie Jackson is a 2007 graduate of the Florida State University’s Information Technology program, and co-founded the FSU chapter of the Association of IT Professionals (AITP) in the College of Information (now the College of Communication and Information). He is an INROADS alum, and has worked for various Fortune 500 companies since 2005.

Professional

In April of 2007, Willie took a position with Accenture in Atlanta. He is aligned to their Portals and Content Management Group, which is under the Systems Integration and Information Management umbrellas. Essentially, this means that Willie has the pleasure of traveling across the nation to break things very frequently. Work has taken him to Texas, Illinois, New Jersey, Minnesota, Florida, and Massachusetts. He has packed on roughly 35lbs. since taking the position two years ago, and life couldn’t be better.

Willie works with some of the most talented, cultured, educated, and well-traveled consultants in the world. On his first project with Accenture, he worked alongside individuals from China, India, France, Korea, Egypt, Puerto Rico, and every corner of the US (seriously: Florida, New York, Texas, and California were represented).

Entrepreneurial

Willie specializes in creating personal branding websites for individuals who understand how critical it is to be findable on the web. His primary demographics are 1) Startup CEOs and Directors who would like to brand themselves independent of their business, 2) Professionals looking to establish or augment their web presence, and 3) upcoming graduates who understand that the game is changing and a resume just won’t cut it anymore.

Known for his commanding tone, quick wit, and boyish good looks engaging presentations, Willie is an in-demand speaker who has been addressing crowds of various sizes for several years. He speaks about branding, professional development, and technology from unconventional angles.
