I like to challenge the status quo. Like the notion that getting a job requires a resume. The notion that your current reality is the one you have to accept. The notion that the readily available options are the best ones for you. Sometimes the solutions I implement involve technology. Sometimes they involve coaching. Sometimes a word of encouragement.

I’ve discovered over the years that I don’t fit into any particular category. I’m not precluded by fear. I’m not afraid to act on the “what if” inclinations. So I help people (like you) reach goals more effectively, get small operations off the ground, avoid novice pitfalls, and give the big boys a run for their money using more effective tools and more focused strategies.

From 2007 to 2010, I was employed as a technology consultant with Accenture. It was an excellent job, but I found the work to be hopelessly unfulfilling. I longed for work that mattered. An existence worth talking about. Traveling 40 hours per month doing work that I didn’t care about was a pretty ineffective path to this goal, so I set sail in April of 2010 to focus on serving clients of my “side hustle” more effectively.

My primary gig these days is serving as founder and Director of Everything™ at Jackson Web Consulting, LLC. I provide WordPress consulting, branding, marketing, and strategy services. My specialty is building personal websites. Helping you tell your story. Aligning your goals with your experience (on “paper”). Things like that. How can I help you?
